Abstract: Presented in this paper research allowed to propose a new method of an angular rate sensor synthesis using dynamically tuned gyroscope (DTG). Synthesis method is based on applying two-dimensional signal post-processing system to the output of a conventional DTG, which performs complete removal of the gyroscope cross-sensitivity. It is demonstrated that required angular rate sensor performances can be realised by proper choice of the decoupling system parameters. At the same, this post-processing system is robust to the DTG parameters variations. Generality of the proposed method makes it applicable to other sensors that suffer from undesired cross-sensitivity.
